Man says he kept getting packages delivered to his house under someone else’s name — and then one of them didn’t make sense

In a Reddit post, one homeowner said it started with deliveries that did not belong to him. At first, he wrote, it seemed like a simple mistake. Packages would show up at his door with a different name on the label, and he assumed it was a mix-up with the address or someone entering the wrong information online. According to the post, he tried to ignore it at first or send them back when he could, thinking it would stop on its own.

But instead of stopping, he said the deliveries kept coming. Over time, it stopped feeling like a one-off error and started to feel like a pattern. The same name kept appearing, even though he said no one by that name had ever lived at his address. That is when it shifted from annoying to concerning. He wrote that he started wondering why someone would repeatedly use his address instead of their own.

The situation escalated when one of the packages stood out. According to the post, it was not something ordinary or easy to brush off. He described it as unusual enough that it made him question whether there was something more going on behind the deliveries. That was the moment he stopped seeing it as a harmless inconvenience and started thinking about whether his address was being used for something he did not understand.

By the time he wrote the post, the question was no longer just about what to do with the packages. It was about why his address had been chosen in the first place and what it could mean if it kept happening. What started as a few wrong deliveries turned into a situation where he felt like he was being pulled into something without knowing what it was—or how to stop it.
